Keyless2Go 3 Button Replacement Remote Flip Key for GM OHT01060512

My wife lost her original OEM Key Fob. Had key cut at GM dealer for $33.00 and my wife followed the instructions in the Buick owners manual for reprogramming the electronics in the key. She said it was quite easy and worked the first time. This was on a 2016 Buick LaCrosse, Leather, Push Button Start. Will now purchase a second one to replace my original key fob with a damaged keypad. Fortunately it still worked good enough to get my wife's new Key copied and programmed. Will try to move the key from my OEM key fob to the replacement key fob to avoid the $33 key cutting charge on the second one. BTW, one Buick Dealer quoted $55 to cut and copy just the key so look around to get a lower cost. We had ours done at a Chevrolet dealer.. They did Bad Mouth the non-oem key fob and tried to convince us that they needed to do the reprogramming as it was really difficult. Not true at all. Their job is to sell GM products., Our job was to get it done at the least possible cost. We probably saved over $100 by buying an aftermarket product. Will it last as long as an OEM Fob? I guess we will find out.

I purchased these for a 2016 Chevy Equinox. As everyone knows an auto key fob falls apart after 8 years of use. With a little research and a trip to a locksmith I now have 2 new key fobs that are fully functional.Here's the breakdown; - $14 for each fob (x 2) = $28 - $25 for each fob cut at locksmith (x2) = $50 - watching 1 five minute video (thanks YouTube) - approximately 2 minutes to program said key fob (x 2) = 4 minutesFinal cost was a little over $75 and 10 minutes of my time. This would have cost me $100-$200 each at the local dealership.I've tested all buttons and they are fully functional. Even the auto-start. Some videos stated that only lock & unlock buttons worked after programming. The buttons on my 2 new fobs work exactly as they should.Research these beforehand so that you purchase the correct fob for your vehicle. It's a pain and a big waste of time if you have to return yours due to lack of research.

You only had to go to a locksmith to copy it, then just put the ignition on it in the car, stop it with the original, then repeat it with your finger and it worked, you didn't have to pay for programming like that. Thank you perfect
