The programming of these units was a bit of fun but they did take programming an work very well
Bought two for my 2009 Toyota Sienna and I just programmed them and now all five buttons (locks open, locks close, alarm, left passenger and right passenger doors) work as expected on both remotes. The trick is to correctly follow the instructions! The programming process consists of a seemingly meaningless set of door openings, closings, key insertions and removals but if you follow the 7 steps EXACTLY, it programmed correctly.
Worked the first time!
Ordered 2 keyfobs for my wife's 2008 Toyota Sienna. They arrived today, went to the website they gave for programming instructions and printed them out. I had my doubts once I read the instructions, which were a sequence of opening and closing driver's door interspersed by inserting and removing key in the ignition. But it worked! The Sienna entered programming mode and I programmed both remotes. Tested all functions (locking/unlocking, opening/closing sliding doors) and everything worked! Bravo!
