This Keyless2Go remote head key is an affordable and dependable choice for Jaguar owners needing a replacement remote head key.

Fast shipping, super well made, and it’s easy to code and cut it. Buy with confidence and if the flipping part gets a bit stick, it just needs to be flipped a few times first.
Worked perfect as a duplicate key for my 2009 Jaguar XJ8.
This product worked fine for my jaguar xtype. I programmed it easily without having to go to a dealer. The only thing you would need a dealer for is to cut the cut, but the remote functions you can do yourself.
The key works excellent for a remote and a key. My local locksmith was abnle to cut the tibbe key just fine. Looks decent (obviously no logo or branding), and works well. The locksmith charged me $75 a key to cut and program them to the car.A few points. The switchblade mechanism is a bit flimsy. It doesn't always flip out all the way. You have to press down and then release somewhat andpress down again, as there is some sort of catch in the mechanism. Also, there is a spring sound which concerns me as it sounds like the spring might wear prematurely. When the key is out, it wobbles slightly side to side. It doesn't appear to affect the functionality, but my 15 year old OEM key is rock solid still. On one of the two keys i ordered, the key fob loop at the bottom of the key pulled out and detached from the key ring. I used glue and pushed it back in, and seems fine for now. This loop is very tight, and you will not be able to put a standard 1" split ring through it. You need a 1/2" or 12mm ring, wire, or a chain to attach it.
When I purchased these, I must have been in a hurry and didn't buy them on my regular account. So I had to hunt the seller down so I could write a review! And here I am, because these work perfectly! We bought an '06 X-Type and it came with just one key and the fob was a wreck. Dealer wanted $400 for one key!Had these cut AND programmed at that same dealer for $125.When I got these I pressed the button and..... one key came out slowly and the other one I had to give it some help. I thought, "uh-oh...what did I buy?" They're fine! Just a little stiff when they first arrived. Don't be tempted to "lubricate" them. They just need to be opened and closed and they loosen right up and work as you expect them to work. The key blades can be cut at many locksmith shops. There is a transponder in the shell where the key button is. THAT is what needs to be programmed to the car's ignition so it's recognized as a valid key. There is a method for doing this yourself IF YOU HAVE 2 WORKING ORIGINAL KEYS. Otherwise, you need to take it in to be programmed to the car (like me...because I only had one original key). The BUTTONS, you can easily do yourself. It involves inserting a key, turning the ignition so the dash lights up (but don't start the car) and off and on.... you do this 4 times. The car chimes to signal it's ready, you press a button on the remote... car chimes... and in a few seconds you can use all the buttons. When you do this, you should do all remotes at once, so...on, off (4 times)remove key from ignitionchimepress a button on each remotedoneI'm keeping our only original key as a spare and using these as our everyday keys. The quality is fine. And they match the originals so well you can actually pop and original key case in half (separate the key half from the button half) and snap it onto these (after removing the uncut key half of the case of course)So.... five stars. Saved a ton of money. Have 2 perfectly working keys. And this seller was quick to ship. I had them in just a couple of days.
